On November 4, 2022, Three Rivers Elementary received their award for being recognized as a 2022 National Blue Ribbon School in the category for "Closing the Gaps". This is a national recognition sponsored by the United States Department of Education. Only 26 schools in the State of Texas were recognized in 2022. This is an accomplishment that is prestige and honorable. It takes a lot of hard work from all aspects and stakeholders of a campus. It is a humbling yet inspirational award.
